First things first..... lets get to know Yellow House Quilts!

​Yellow House quilts is owned by Mandy Applebee.  I officially opened my doors to customer quilts in March of 2012 after about 4 years of work for friends and family. 

 

In March of 2012 I purchased "FREIDA" an APQS Freedom SR machine on a 12 foot frame.  This machine allows me 24 inches of working space and about 120 inches of length in the stitching field.  Making this decision was HARD for me as it was a big financial jump and I was afraid but it opened a world of creative possibilities I could never have imagined!

I am a mother of 2 beautiful, active, mischievous boys ages 6 and 3 who keep me on my toes constantly.  I swear I never stop running, cleaning and trying to keep the peace but I wouldn't change a thing!

As a quilter I pride myself on a flexibility and willingness to get your project perfect.  I have a wide range of pantographs for edge to edge hand guided designs and the sky is the limit if you allow me freedom to stitch from the front of my machine.  I LOVE to use quilts as a canvas and take pride is helping make your beautiful quilt top come alive and really strut its stuff!!

 

ALL my work is HAND GUIDED with no computer involvement so you can get the most personal results for your quilt.  As a team we will work together to design the quilting for your quilt top from choosing the thread colors to narrowing down your design choices.
